Launch Your Aviation, Aerospace or Engineering Venture
Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University is looking for university student-led startups with revolutionary ideas that will change the future of the aviation, aerospace and engineering industries. Successful projects will feature scalable transformative technologies led by strong management teams capable of launching disruptive innovation.
Six finalists will present their pitches in person at the John Mica Engineering and Aerospace Innovation Complex (MicaPlex) in the Embry-Riddle Research Park in Daytona Beach. Judges and representatives of successful entrepreneurs and investors will be invited to attend. Each competitor will receive 10 minutes for their pitch and 10 minutes for a Q & A with the judges. A proof-of-concept or working prototype is strongly encouraged.
Competition winners will receive:
First Place: $10,000
Second Place: $5,000
Third Place: $3,000
Plus in-kind consultations on IT support, early-stage venture funding, accounting, intellectual property, marketing, and more
Previous winners have gone on to join the Embry-Riddle Research Park Technology Business Incubator, UCF Business Incubator program, and the Starter Studio Accelerator 2.0.
