About the Opportunity

As Area Client Manager ("Partner Solutions Guy") with PICKUP, you will be responsible for working with our current and prospective retail customers. You will work directly with their store-level and regional leadership to grow Instant Delivery-assisted sales for the customer, as well as the PICKUP team in your assigned retail accounts. You will be responsible for building business relationships that position PICKUP as a “value-creating” supplier and partner. The successful candidate will grow the customer base, store-level sales and leverage product knowledge and merchandising skills to ultimately becoming the category expert within their assigned territory.

What You’ve Done In The Past

• Worked in the retail industry for at least one year (directly or indirectly)
• Sold a value-add product or services to retailers
• A bachelor’s degree is preferred, but not required


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
• Ability to manage multiple relationships and tasks
• Detail oriented and organized
• Aggressive, competitive and committed
• Highly motivated with a desire to be successful
• Effective time management skill

Additional Requirements

• Must have recent and significant experience closing deals with retail stores at a local/regional level.
• Must have recent and significant experience in a role with responsibility for an individual quota selling retail services to our target market.
• Must be someone that can be very hands-on, roll up their sleeves and do whatever it takes to achieve goals while building the team.
• Need someone who is creative and strategic and knows how to work smart.

Responsibilities

What You’ll Do at PICKUP

Market Development
• Target, solicit and secure new business by utilizing exemplary sales and relationship skills, networking ability and media tools.
• Implement PICKUP sales programs and initiatives within your assigned territory and drive sales growth within existing stores.
• Plan, manage and grow your territory volume and strengthen our brand position within the market.

Account Management
• Manage established national, regional, and local accounts. Foster relationships for continued growth and future opportunities. Work to establish long lasting relationships with customers to provide complete satisfaction to the store and the consumer.
• Ensure proper store training, events and point of sale materials are in place at our partner stores.
• Constantly seeks to improve the retail partner and consumer customer experiences.

Expansion
• Assist in launching new markets, which includes business development. Travel may be required.
• Assist with and resolve customer management.
• Helping develop future growth strategies, and new opportunities for PICKUP.
