Apollo is a startup charter school that will cater to children with autism in the Homestead, FL area. We are currently seeking passionate individuals who are interested in being part of the Governing Board. As part of the Governing Board, you will assist in ensuring compliance with the school's established policies and procedures set forth in the Bylaws. You will also help make a significant difference in the lives of hundreds of children with autism who struggle in a traditional school environment.

All candidates will be screened via phone by the Board Chair followed by panel interviews of current Board members and Founders to determine if the candidate is well-suited for the position, mission, and culture of the school.

Vice Chair - Apollo is currently seeking a Vice Chair with a graduate level degree in Management, Law, or Education. Prior experience with charter schools and management in a large team environment is preferred. Candidate should be approachable, responsive, and model effective communication with all Board members. Must advocate for and enforce the school's vision and mission at all times. Must attend all monthly/bi-monthly meetings.
