At Clutch, delivering amazing explanations is our core. We're a game-changing edtech startup, providing quality, on-demand video content to address some of the most difficult concepts our users will ever have to understand. A tenacity toward surprising our users with an awesome learning experience is critical to our success. We're looking for a Marketing and Operations Intern to aid in our marketing, research, and operations efforts.

This 6-month program is designed for energetic interns who enjoy working with people and want to gain a better understanding of how to successfully work individually as well as within groups. The right person will be comfortable in our "all hands on deck" environment, loves solving people problems and can thrive in a startup culture.

Word savvy. You have exceptional writing skills and can craft everything from emails and blog posts to policies and summaries, easily adjusting your tone/voice accordingly.
Naturally curious. You're innovative, extremely creative and constantly looking for ways to improve upon things.
Hard working. Working at a startup is nothing like a corporate environment. We're constantly challenging each other to get out of comfort zones and grow in multiple areas. You're the kind of person that can roll their sleeves up and take on any task at hand.

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION
Must be willing to commit 20-25 hours per week
High School diploma; currently enrolled in an accredited university
Pursuing a Marketing, Communications or Business degree
Excellent copywriting skills; strong written and verbal communication
High degree of proficiency with Google Drive and Microsoft Office
Previous experience in a marketing or communications role is preferred

Responsibilities

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage and grow our online presence through blogs, social media, and other strategically relevant online properties
Identify, organize and highlight our students' stories, for further use in PR, blogs, etc.
Participate in meetings to stay up-to-date on expansion strategies — advising on community outreach, interaction, etc.
Plan and organize marketing functions and operations (product development, communications etc.), and ensure they project the company’s unique brand and “Core Values"
Work closely with the Operations and Marketing team to assist in day-to-day projects to meet weekly goals
These projects may include researching contact information, organizing university/campus information, providing customer support to students, etc.
