Slay is a Miami-based beauty tech startup that allows consumers to find and book appointments at local salons through a monthly subscription. After graduating from Georgetown, Brown and UPenn, the dynamic duo founding team started Slay with a mission to empower women to feel their best while also supporting local businesses, the majority of which are minority and female owned.

Desired Skills

This is not your typical 9-5, desk-job internship. If you are someone who thrives on social interaction (a true “people person”), hard work, and loves to #slayallday, apply to join the Slay team. As a company, we are growing fast, and we are looking for hard working, creative go-getters to join our team. Candidates should be motivated self-starters, have superior people skills and are excited about a job that is truly unlike most internships. Hours are flexible, but you must be able to commit to about 10 hours per week.


-Assist with selling to and onboarding new local salons and customers to drive greater awareness of Slay on and off campus.
-Assist in planning, coordination + execution of community events (rush events, beauty pop-ups, etc.).
-Assist in execution of marketing plans for specific locations.
-Provide insights to the product team to improve user engagement and growth.
-Identify and test new outreach strategies to drive users to Slay (email, content, ads, social media, etc.).
-Communicate with the Slay community and test ideas to drive engagement and referrals.
-Assist in planning, coordination + execution of partnerships to drive user and provider growth.
-Write analysis pieces and measure the results of content and campaigns (SEO, user growth).
