We are planning on having two talks. We have an OPEN SLOT right now for someone if they want to talk about something related to WordPress.
1) Tear Down of a WordPress Multisite Community – David Carr (writer, editor, and web consultant – author of Social Collaboration for Dummies) will share lessons learned from building a community application that allows chapters of a nonprofit organization (Toastmasters) to create their own “free” subdomain website hosted on WordPress multisite.
This is the latest in a series of community-oriented WordPress sites he has created that include event scheduling and registration, a custom registration process, and modifications of the standard WordPress user security roles. Without covering all the programming details, he will cover key functions, concepts, and techniques, as well as how to find information to solve specific problems for your WordPress applications.
2) TBA
