Miami Mini Maker Faire

The moment is finally upon us, the 3rd Annual Miami Mini Maker Faire kicks off tomorrow at 10am! So join us at YoungArts Foundation Campus (2100 Biscayne Boulevard) tomorrow Saturday, February 20th and Sunday February 21st. The venue is starting to come alive with makers and exhibitors descending onto the space to prepare their booths and special installations. From battle bots and drones to visual art and live musical performances, there is something to excite and inspire people of all ages and interests. So bring your family, friends, neighbors, and colleagues for a celebration of South Florida’s creativity and ingenuity! We are anticipating a large crowd both days so be sure to purchase your tickets in advance and avoid the long lines at the Faire. While there is plenty of available parking nearby, we would also recommend carpooling and using public transportation whenever possible to make your commute simple. We at MIAMade are humbled and honored to be working with our incredible partners at Maker Media, The John S. and James L. Knight Foundation and the National YoungArts Foundation. We are also very excited for the launch of our first ever “Music Makers Showcase” at the Faire, which will highlight unique, inventive musicians from across the region as well as our revamped “Maker Talks” series, which will be presented in collaboration with Global Shapers Miami.
