Twisted Science Miami Presents: The Science of Love

Is it possible to scientifically look at love? Is love a choice…or is it just completely irrational? Our Twisted Scientist Dr. Berit Brogaard has the answers! In her book, “On Romantic Love”, the University of Miami professor explores the Science of Love. On February 18th, just after Valentine’s Day, come hear her explain what is happening to our brain when we are in love. She will explore the historical, philosophical, psychological and neuro-scientific aspects of love. A person’s pull is magnetic. Opposites seem to attract. We will also learn the science behind those crazy magnets and explore their applications with some hands-on activities.
