SUMMARY:Distributed Machine Learning with HPCC Systems
DESCRIPTION:HPCC (High Performance Computing Cluster) Systems from LexisNexis is an open source massive parallel-processing computing platform that solves Big Data problems. Included in the platform is an extensible set of fully parallel Machine Learning and Matrix processing algorithms to assist with business intelligence; covering supervised and unsupervised learning\, document and text analysis\, statistics and probabilities\, and general inductive inference related problems. ECL\, the high level declarative data oriented programming language used with the HPCC Systems platform along with the associated Machine Learning toolkit\, offer effortless linear scalability across entire clusters. A set of fully parallel linear algebra operations\, written in ECL\, provides extensibility\, allowing for the quick implementation of new high level algorithms.\nThe speaker will present an overview of the existing capabilities and algorithms of the HPCC Systems platform and ECL language and share our latest developments in distributed machine learning and how to leverage the most appropriate algorithms to quickly extract knowledge from big data to help make critical decisions.\nOpen discussion to follow. Attendees will have a chance to win a Kindle Fire! Pizza and refreshments will be served.\nOur speaker Dr. Flavio Villanustre leads HPCC Systems\, and is also VP\, Technology for LexisNexis Risk Solutions. In this position\, he is responsible for Information and Physical Security\, overall platform strategy and new product development. Dr. Villanustre is also involved in a number of projects involving Big Data integration\, analytics\, machine learning and business intelligence. Prior to 2001\, Flavio served in a variety of roles at different companies including Infrastructure\, Information Security and Information Technology. In addition to this\, Dr. Villanustre has been involved with the open source community for over 15 years through multiple initiatives. Some of these include founding the first Linux User Group in Buenos Aires (BALUG) in 1994\, releasing several pieces of software under different open source licenses\, and evangelizing open source to different audiences through conferences\, training and education. Prior to his technology career\, Dr. Villanustre was a neurosurgeon.\nAgenda\n15 minutes – Welcome & Mingling\n60 minutes – Presentation\n15 minutes – Q&A / Open Discussion

SUMMARY:Dissertation Writing Service
DESCRIPTION:The Top 10 Best Event Management Dissertation Writing Ideas\n \nThe job of an event manager is a tough one. It can include elements of project management with the added expectation of design and marketing abilities. At the end of this course of study\, the completion of a dissertation may be expected. This endeavor can succeed or fail almost entirely on the strength of the topic that is chosen. A good topic is:\nInteresting\n \nIt should make the reader more informed by reading the entire paper. If not\, it should at least cover an unexpected perspective.\nResearch-able\n \nIf the topic sounds lovely but no one can ever truly look into it in detail\, there is nothing to be gained from selecting it. You may as well pick a slightly less boring concept and try to add more spice to it in the writing.\nOriginal\n \nThis is a difficult characteristic to maintain because many people write dissertations and several may have similar concepts in mind to those you find appealing. Look at what has been done most recently by other writers and try to find the things you can do differently.\nAcceptable\n \nHaving tried to follow the above traits you should bear in mind that some topics may be unsavory in your professor’s opinion. Avoid topics that may offend others or bring your entire college into disrepute. These may be a great way to gain notoriety but without restraint you will soon find that your gimmick feels hollow to you and you wish to be taken seriously by your contemporaries.\nThe introduction to your dissertation should elaborate to the reader what you are about to investigate. It should describe the dissertation’s topic or scope of your dissertation. That’s why we can say that writing a dissertation is the most difficult and challenging task for every academic student. Especially writing a proper introduction is therefore very critical task in the overall bearing of your dissertation. The introduction should try to answer all the questions like what? \, why? And how? Along with this your introductory chapter should also include brief explanation towards your project and dissertation. In dissertation introductory part is very important because with the help of introduction part you can elaborate methodology along with the theoretical approach. Towards the conclusion of the introduction\, you should provide to the reader the overview of the brief summery like what they should expect from the upcoming chapters and indicate the sequences.\nSo these are the basic important task which you have to complete in introductory part. And obviously it is very difficult.\nBut to reduce this problem you can hire some expert writer who can provide you dissertation help and with the help of online you can achieve an effective introduction.
