DESCRIPTION:The March for Science Miami is to celebrate our enthusiasm and passion for science and to call for support in safeguarding the scientific community. \nWe will come together on April 22\, 2017 to unite\, as a community\, and to call for science that upholds the common good\, and for policies that enact evidence-based science in the publics interest.\nScientists work together to help understand\, and build\, a better future for us. Science is constantly expanding\, and is a continual process that should not be withheld from the public– especially tax-funded research. Without science\, we would not have the modern medicine we use today\, or the education that teaches children and adults to think critically\, ask questions\, and evaluate.\nWe will gather together at Museum Park on April 22\, 2017\, to stand united for fellow scientists\, and science enthusiasts\, and to pledge our dedication to open\, inclusive\, and accessible science!\nWe have a donation page if you are interested in helping to donate for the cause! All proceeds will go toward funding the cost of preparing for the march\, including permitting for the venue!\nMarch for Science Donation Page

SUMMARY:04-22-107 GET TO KNOW. Neural Networks\, TensorFLOW 101
DESCRIPTION:This is the first of a series of sessions where we will get to know new technologies that are being developed and implemented in many cutting edge products in the west coast. There will be a presentation with guidelines however\, attendants are encouraged to do their own research and participate. \nThis session will focus on an introduction to Neural Networks and Tensorflow “TensorFlow™ is an open source software library for numerical computation using data flow graphs. Nodes in the graph represent mathematical operations\, while the graph edges represent the multidimensional data arrays (tensors) communicated between them.”\nWe will discuss on tools\, sources for learning\, current use cases and possible trends and uses for this technology. \nMore information about TensorFlow & Neural Networks \nhttps://www.tensorflow.org/\nhttps://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Artificial_neural_network ;
