SUMMARY:Miami Service Jam (global design thinking event)
DESCRIPTION:THIS IS A TICKETED EVENT. GET YOUR TICKETS HERE: https://miamiservicejam2016.eventbrite.com/ Want to take on a design thinking adventure where you can come up with innovative ways to change the world? Miami jams with the world once again by joining the Global Service Jam this February. The Global Service Jam is a 48-hour design thinking event where people come together in cities around the globe to create and prototype new products and services around a common global theme. Jams are about meeting cool people in your community\, practicing design thinking and creative problem-solving methods\, and most importantly\, having fun! You will learn design-based tools and skills you can apply to your business or any project. These tools are used by Apple\, IBM\, and other top-notch companies to drive innovation\, delight customers\, and reduce risk and project costs. In addition to being a fun event\, it is excellent professional development. You don’t need to be ‘creative’ or have experience with design to Jam. In fact we encourage people without these things to join us. You’ll be supported throughout the weekend by your hosts and mentors.

SUMMARY:Selling for SaaS Startups: What We Learned Sending 1 Million Cold Emails
DESCRIPTION:Sending cold emails is the quickest way to grow any agency or startup that sells to businesses. However\, sending cold emails can be tedious. In this event\, Alex Berman – Chief Marketing Sumo at InspireBeats\, will go over what they learned sending over 1\,000\,000 cold emails in the last year and how you can use it to grow your company. Takeaways include: * What makes the perfect subject line? * How much personalization is necessary? * Where are the best places to find leads? You’ll learn the best process for sourcing quality leads\, personalizing email outreach\, and all the mistakes that people tend to make in early stage sales. We’ll show you real examples of rapid growing B2B companies that are crushing outbound sales with cold emails and we’ll show you exactly what you can do to personalize all your follow up emails without looking spammy. In addition to all that\, you’ll learn the best practices for engaging with prospects and we will also briefly dive into how to generate and find targeted leads for your business. Regardless if you are a B2B enterprise company or a single founder startup\, this is a great opportunity to learn and improve your cold email skills while having the chance to network with other founders and professionals in the sales field. We’ll also have a Q&A session where you can blast away with any questions you have.
