James Hansen isn’t your typical entrepreneur. Before Pre Dev, he was a seasoned professional in the world of finance, with a strong background in trading desk support and venture capital analysis. His keen analytical mind and deep understanding of financial markets made him a valuable asset in his previous roles.
However, James’ passion for technology led him to a different path. He leveraged his experience at the University of Miami’s Cane Angel Network, where he served as a Venture Capitalist Analyst, honing his skills in identifying emerging tech trends and evaluating early-stage startups.

The road to success wasn’t always smooth sailing. Initially, Pre Dev targeted development agencies with a high-ticket SaaS model. While initially successful, James recognized the need for adaptation. Pre Dev has also navigated internal organizational changes, requiring critical decision-making from stakeholders. They’ve faced challenges head-on, and after celebrating their 1-year anniversary, they’re well aware of the high startup failure rate.
